Phonic Scoupe- Lust [Stripped Recordings]

With a resume as impressive as Phonic Scoupe’s, nowadays every release they have, is an occasion to celebrate this trio of talent. In a day and age where people expect innovative boundary pushing tunes, what you get is ”Lust”, Original Mix from the Lithuanian stables. The short and sweet pack releases on Stripped Recordings Red hot and right now and includes a crackling Remix by CID Inc, which simply put is an awe inspiring rework by any standards.
The title tune kicks off with a straight up pattern of tribalish woody beats that soon gets over laid with dark jungle wholesomeness. The rhythm bumps off to a nicety with plenty of motion and the chords above are atmospheric and moody. The track has oodles of late night attitude around it and goes in to an organesque break down, and from there-on one pushes  forward with a swinging jump. Very solid, very effective and skilful material to dance with.
Here’s my favorite part, to deconstruct CID Inc’s remix of ”Lust”, is difficult but then I’m over whelmed by a massive hypnotic energy and what remains are incoherent ramblings nonetheless. His handiwork has class written all over it, as he takes that circular riff a notch higher, deepens and fattens it. A logical optimization of the original, which quite surely makes it a peak time clubbing gem. The throbbing Bass, winding melodic line and underground rumble just icing on the remix cake. I’m staring at an unarguably hot, hotter, hottest Producer to hit dance music in a long time, and this outing just stamps it in even further.
